Welcome to Hanwood Public School.
Our school is situated in the Riverina, just five kilometres from the city of Griffith in rural NSW.
Hanwood Public School has an enrolment of 170 students.
The school has a picturesque setting with spacious grounds and a wonderful playground. We have well-resourced classrooms, with every classroom containing an Interactive TV. Lap top computers are utilised in the classrooms. In addition, we have an extensive library, an Italian (community language) room, a music room and a STEM room.
We have quality teachers at Hanwood, who ensure all students are accessing the most up to date and innovative teaching and learning programs, allowing the students to achieve their potential.
